How does it work:
Logistics, Sourcing and Collecting
We have a dedicated shipping team, which handles all Lekon's shipping needs.
Wherever if it is a delivery of the platinum sponge or
collection of scrap automotive catalyst,
the economies we achieve in transportation frequently enable us
to outbid competitors.
We pick-up and deliver no matter how big is the shipment or how far are you located.
Sampling, Assaying and Value determination
Sampling and assaying are the
fundamental
steps in precious metal content determination. The full range of
raw materials are sampled on site. Sampling operations prepare raw materials for further
processing and acquire representative samples of each lot of
incoming material.
All customers are welcome to personally follow the sampling
cycle.
Lekon operates in-house precious metal
assay laboratory with full range of wet chemistry and instrument
capabilities for analyzing all materials received quickly and
accurately.
Precious Metals Recovery and Refining
Lekon operates smelter and wet
chemical process to recover precious metals, which are purified
in refining operations and used for production of sponge,
solutions, special compounds and alloys.
Metal Accounts Settlement, Delivery of the Products
Recovered precious metals credited
to customer's weight account may be:
- Sold to Lekon
- Delivered physically in form of sponge or bars
- Swapped to special product or industrial applications
- Transferred to third-party metal account.
Lekon also provides wide range of financial services for recovered metals such as price-hedging, cash borrowing, leasing and interest deposits.
